The Association for the Integration of the Disabled in the region of Mar Menor, Aideman held on Saturday July 10th I Aidemarcha Fun Run 2010 in which they hope to gather more than a thousand people.
The "Aidemarcha" that can be done will pay off running and walking at nine in the evening from the Plaza of Spain and will finish on the esplanade Barnuevo of Santiago de la Ribera after covering a distance of five kilometers.
The mayor of San Javier, Pepa Garcia stressed that it is an initiative of solidarity and healthy "during the presentation of the race that took place this morning at City Hall with the presence of Aideman president, Francisco García, coordinating the test, Miguel Andreu, and athletes FCCartagena Mariano Sánchez, and Juan Molina Olympic walker who supported the race with his presence.
Aideman Two students, Jessica and Miguel Angel also attended the commemorative shirt to invite mass participation in the night race.
Entries with a price of 5 euros can be made through the website www.aidemarcha.org or any of the 7 centers Aideman has opened in the region, through which assisted 500 people qualified mental disabilities in San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar, Los Alcazares, Torre Pacheco, Pilar de la Horadada (Alicante).
Among the various categories including the race included two people with disabilities, one with the whole tour and another adapted, in the last 50meters before reaching goal.
Francisco García, president of Aideman, stressed the importance of this type of solidarity activities "because although we receive government funding is not enough."
Aideman currently constructing a modern early childhood in San Javier.
Garcia thanked the support of the council with the participation of the Department of Sports, Safety and Civil Protection, which will meet the test development as well as elite athletes who have supported the initiative and more than 40 companies have also collaborated in the development of the test.
