Councillor for Social Services, Estíbaliz Masegosa and territorial director of the FSG Murcia, Jesus Salmeron presented today at the Municipal Social Services Centre's "Terniben" program to improve youth employability or at risk of exclusion it will be held in San Javier ,.
The program, funded by the Institute of Social Action Murciano, IMAS through the Autonomous Region of Murcia and the Youth Employment Operational Programme of the European Social Fund, is aimed at young people between 16 and 29 years of age without occupation , outside the education system;
households headed by young people who have been emancipated and young people living in households in situations of exclusion.
Councillor for Social Services, Estíbaliz Masegosa explained that the objective of the program, whose implementation and monitoring will be performed jointly by the Department and Secretary Gitano Foundation, is to improve the employability of young people through different training tools and motivation that lead them to the workplace.
In addition the program also includes work in companies for practical as well as aid to facilitate the recruitment of young people.
Jesus Salmeron said the program, which includes training in basic skills, vocational training, work placements and workshops, leisure, direct involvement of young people themselves and networks, enhance individual itineraries looking for the potential of young people and promoting the development to the above, in addition to working labor niches that may be in the area.
The program will run from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14: 00h.
in the classrooms of the municipal Local Development Agency of San Javier, an organization that also form part of a working group has been created to develop the project with FSG, Youth Council, Regional Employment and Training, SEF and the Department of Social Services.
In addition to the referral of participants who can make the Department of Social Services, interested youth can also request information and to register through the Social Services Center located in street Bernal, Santiago de la Ribera and the Agency for Local Development in San Javier to occupy one of the 50 places available.
The program also develops in Lorca, has local character so they can also access the same youth in San Pedro del Pinatar, Los Alcazares and Torre Pacheco.
