The assembly hall of the City of San Javier welcomed early afternoon the group draw of teams participating in the Championship of Spain Benjamín Futsal for Territorial Selections to be held in San Javier from 17 to 21 March next.
Murcia selection share Group C with Melilla and Madrid.
Group A consists of Castilla La Manga (former champion), Galicia (former runner), Extremadura and La Rioja.
The B group consists of Ceuta, Catalonia, Navarra and Aragon, while the D group consists Cantabria, Andalusia and Asturias.
The draw was presided over by Gonzalo de Azkarate Gaztelu, chairman of the subcommittee of the championships in Spain of Territorial Selections National Futsal Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
The event was attended, Jose Venancio Lopez Hierro, national coach soccer, sport in which Spain has been 7 times European champion and twice world champion, who along with the Deputy Mayor Teresa Foncuberta, Councillor Sports San Javier, Carlos Albaladejo and chairman of Futsal Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, Luciano Herrero, were responsible for extracting balls group draw.
Championship to be held in Hall "Prince Felipe de Borbon y Grecia" and the auxiliary flag, the sports center of San Javier, between 17 and 21 March, welcomes 14 teams with a total of 270 athletes and about 1,000 passengers.
The national football coach Jose Venancio Lopez Hierro stressed the importance for the sport has the national championship Benjamin "because it is the beginning of the competitive activity of children who will be the future of Spanish football."
