A group of 60 students of 4th, 5th and 6th of Primary School "Severo Ochoa" have learned that with 8 boxes of cereal for breakfast can make a book and aluminum containing 80 cans of soft drink is enough to produce a bicycle tire during his visit yesterday to the municipal Ecoparque of San Javier, where they deepened their knowledge about recycling and waste management.
In addition to touring the containers from different waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous, visiting students enjoyed a workshop reuse in which they themselves have been able to make bracelets with packaging plastic bottles and fabric clothing used, with the help of the Abraham Project Association, which collaborates with the City of San Javier in the management of clothing, footwear and toys used.
Entertaining and educational way children were guided by the eco-park where they had the opportunity to see how it works and what they can do to help increase the recycling of waste in the municipality, adding to the Rule of the 3Rs of the environment: Reduce , reuse and recycle.
