A group of 53 volunteers from San Javier accompanied by the Councillor Volunteer and Social Participation of the City of San Javier, Catalina Perez shared on Saturday 27 February, a cultural trip to Caravaca de la Cruz in which had the opportunity to visit the Sanctuary Vera Cruz, the Museum of the Wine Horses, the Interpretation Center of Nature, and the hamlet of Las Fuentes del Marqués, as well as a panoramic tour by train in the city.
Councillor Volunteer, Catalina Perez stressed the importance of this type of activities that volunteers have the opportunity to know each other and strengthen ties, fostering the spirit of belonging to a large group of volunteering that exists in the municipality and to be recognize the work done selflessly.
The volunteers enrolled in the Department perform various tasks, from workshops at the Bank of Time, to accompany the elderly or infirm, among many others.
