The Town Planning, Agriculture and Environment, Antonio Luengo today stressed the importance of the little ones become familiar with agriculture and an agricultural city like San Javier.
Luengo shared with a group of students from the Escuela Infantil Municipal a visit to the Garden School CEIP "La Paz" where they themselves have dug, planted and watered a plant onion.
The visit of the smallest, 2 years, the orchard school opens today the program of activities organized by the Department of Environment to mark the World Day of the Tree and the World Day for Water, focusing especially on the young.
Children Escuela Infantil complete visits on 15 and 17 into the garden where attended by a technician city have had the opportunity to meet and experience the process farm complete with other plants in production as well as touch and smell other plants as aromatic .
Councilman Antonio Luengo said his department has taken the celebration of the world day of the tree and water, to bring the little ones and the general population to the environment and related infrastructure that exists in the municipality.
In this sense, it has organized a visit school on March 16 with students from 1st ESO school "Sacred Heart" to the station Wastewater San Javier, to know something more than water management, as well as Demonstration center and Technology Transfer at El Mirador, to know the research part of our agriculture.
Scheduled activities are complemented by an afternoon of activities related to the natural in the square of Spain on Friday 18th and a tour open to everyone on March 23 that completes the circle of the process agricultural starting with the Research Center for Technology, plant nurseries, and a processor, which produces handmade jams and preserves agricultural production.
