The Ministry has invested in the last six years 4.4 million euros to improve educational infrastructure in the locality
The general director of Educational Centers, Maria Dolores Valcárcel, met with the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, to plan new initiatives in educational infrastructure in the locality and "continue providing the municipalities of the best educational facilities, enhance quality and in that line, we continue to work ".
Thus, they analyzed the actions undertaken in educational infrastructure in which it has invested 4.4 million euros in the last six years.
"This shows the commitment of regional government with San Javier, where large investments have been made," Valcarcel said.
After the meeting, the Director General visited the College of Education and Primary El Recuerdo, where the Ministry this year plans to invest 20,000 euros in performances accessibility.
These works will complete the improvements last school year took place in the CEIP La Paz, in which 32,000 euros was invested in paving the arena and improve the electrical installation.
Other performances of recent years in the municipality are related to the completion of construction of the CEIP El Recuerdo and improvement works in different centers as repairs in the yard and fencing school Mar Menor or the repair and extension of covers CEIP El Mirador, among others.
In this regard, Valcarcel said that "these actions are included in the regional '+ Educational Quality + School Success' strategy that we set as one of the objectives continue to improve educational facilities in 45 municipalities."
