The City of San Javier is currently undergoing renovation and improvement of urban services in the Francisco Franco avenue and street Luis Federico Guirao, Santiago de la Ribera with a total investment of 380,518 euros.
Public Services Councillor, Maria Dolores Ruiz said during a visit to the works, that work on the street Francisco Franco completed the renovation of one of the busiest avenues in Santiago de la Ribera.
The works, which will be completed in early April, involve the renewal of approach, tree wells and irrigation systems;
replacement of network and lampposts renewal, extension of the bike path, horizontal and vertical signage, and creating two bands parallel parking.
The mayor explained that the performance in the Francisco Franco Avenue, with an amount of 265,415.81 euros, is subsidized by the regional government that provides 153,800 euros through the Plan of Cooperation Works and Municipal Services of the Ministry of Presidency Comuniad Autonomous Region of Murcia.
Avenida Luis Federico Guirao also presents new face in the section bounded by the avenues Francisco Franco and Our Lady of Loreto, in the absence of replacement of luminaires, thanks to the works already completed, total renovation of sidewalks and pavement, alcorques and irrigation network, network renovation of public lighting, signage, renovation stretch bike path, and creating two bands parallel parking.
The works on Luis Federico Guirao involves an investment of 115,103 euros financed entirely by the City of San Javier.
Maria Dolores Ruiz said that with these works goes a step further in improving public roads in the municipality, specifically on two avenues especially busy in Santiago de la Ribera as Francisco Franco that connects the town with the Mirador Avenue, which was also recently renovated with city funds from the surplus of 2014, and is one way in and out of town.
Luis Federico Guirao Avenue, also is one of the access roads to the population up to the Yacht Club
