The illustrator John Brown leads the Museum of San Javier your "Kawaii review" (18/03/2016)

The Museum of San Javier hosts until April 16 an exhibition by illustrator John Brown, one of the most original artists in the Japanese style on your kawaii version, Japanese adjective that could be translated as "tender" or "adorable", which Brown brings his own label which is characterized by an adult and interpretable view from childish and innocent world of kawaii artwork itself.

In "Kawaii Review" John Brown shows the public his childish interpretation in the form and adult at the bottom of a style of illustration plasma in different media beyond paper, such as shirts, mugs, sculptures, and design covers books among others, as you can see in the sample which also shares a set of sketches his creative process.

Councillor for Culture, David Martinez presented last night the artist, who was pleased to exhibit at last in his village.

John Brown (1976) resident of San Javier, who describes himself as a teacher by profession and artist by vocation, has managed in a short time a huge recognition that has led him to exhibit in Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Valencia, Seville, Bilbao, Vitoria, Alicante and Malaga.

In addition to several publications he has collaborated as he did with the PacoVarela designer for your shirt collection spring-summer 2014, as well as Antonio de Felipe with which signed the work "Guernica Pop", a work included in the last exhibition of the famous Valencian painter "Graffiti pop".

The exhibition can be seen at the Museum of San Javier until 16 April.

Hours: Tuesday to Friday from 09:30 to 13: 30h.

and from 18:00 to 20: 30h.

Sundays from 10:30 to 13: 30h.
