Councillor for Culture, David Martinez in Madrid yesterday attended his first meeting of the Committee on Culture of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces as a representative of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
The first meeting of the Commission following the start of the current legislature began with its own constitution and presentation of the table composed of mayors and councilors from the different autonomous communities.
Once the Commission acting as the management report and the previous legislature, as well as the agreements remain in effect presented.
It was also reported on the Central Contracting FEMP and other organizational issues for the functioning of the organization were resolved.
Among other issues addressed by the Commission it included the Platea Program, a state program of circulation of shows performing arts spaces of local authorities, organized by the INAEM in collaboration with the FEMP, which aims to promote joint programming in scenic areas municipally owned.
