About 2,500 young people from 4 ° ESO and 1 Bachelor of different public and private schools in the region participate in the VIII Meeting of Catholic students held today in San Javier.
The Minister of Education and Universities, Maria Isabel Sanchez-Mora, opened the meeting in the Town Hall Square, next to the bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, and the mayor of the municipality, José Miguel Luengo.
Maria Isabel Sanchez-Mora encouraged students to enjoy these days, with which "values ​​are promoted and teamwork and coexistence among students through recreational and educational activities is reinforced."
The students, divided into groups, will develop throughout the day various recreational, sports and recreational activities and visits to the main tourist sites in the municipality.
This is an initiative organized by the delegation of education of the Diocese of Cartagena, which has already held other meetings in Murcia, Lorca, Cartagena, Yecla and Totana.
