The mayor, José Miguel Luengo and the Councillor for Agriculture, Antonio Luengo recently met with a group of agricultural entrepreneurs of the municipality with which they discussed their upcoming participation in Fruit Attraction Fair which will contribute to the promotion of the municipality.
From the stands, fruit and vegetable township entrepreneurs attending the International most important fruit and vegetable sector held in Madrid in early October Fair, will contribute to the promotion of the municipality, through the projection of promotional videos and merchandising.
During the meeting, which is part of the contacts which regularly keeps the government team to the agricultural sector, the mayor reiterated the municipal support for innovation and technology in local agriculture, and reported that the transfer of 7,000 meters square to expand the Technology Transfer Center of El Mirador already been made effective.
Agricultural entrepreneurs highlighted the difficulties encountered by lack of water and asked local authorities to continue moving to higher authorities the need to solve the problem of water insecurity suffering.
