The painter Daniel Marin, guest artist of Imagine 2016, was in charge of opening last night the festival of young art organized by the Department of Youth this year offers some thirty artistic actions that can be seen in eight different locations until May 1 .

At the door of the Museum of San Javier, a DJ began to create atmosphere while Daniel Marin began and ended, in the eyes of the public who was going, a work of large, colorful and rich textures like those exposed within the Museum titled "Alchemy of Color".

The mayor, José Miguel Luengo, the Councillor for Youth, Estíbaliz Masegosa and artistic director of the Festival, accompanied the painter Alberto Garcia, wide international recognition, just landed from Dubai at the opening of his show.

Daniel Martin, who was delighted to be in Imagine, invited young artists to not leave despite the difficulties and continue creating.

The courtyard of the Museum hosted the inaugural party after an appetizer and good music enjoyed by attendees, surrounded by art.

The museum is full creation these days, with many works and proposals that include, as the Festival itself, all artistic disciplines.

Imagine program that can be downloaded includes three interventions www.imaginasanjavier.es Saturday throughout the day in the square of Spain, the library of San Javier and the Almansa Park.

Along with these three spaces, others like street Garroferos, the Maestre Square, City Hall, the building of multiple uses, or the beach Barnuevo of Santiago de la Ribera, where neighbors have woken up with a flower plantation in the sand , hosting many proposals that abounds criticism and social criticism on various topics such as the environment, gender violence, or the issue of refugees.
