Santiago de la Ribera is delivered, a year, in April Fair which opens on Thursday and will remain open until Sunday May 1st with an extensive program of performances, music, dance and typical Andalusian houses with its cuisine .

Councilman Celebration, Pedro Lopez, the headman mayor of Santiago de la Ribera, Julia Gallut and the president of the commission of the April Fair, Carmen Villaescusa presented this morning the new edition of the Fair that started more than 20 years driven by a group of Andalusian residents in Santiago de la Ribera, she recalled the mayor Pedro Lopez.

The lighting of the premises, located in the gardens "Prince of Asturias" and the appointment of young Nuria Martinez as Madrina of the Fair inaugurated on Thursday at 21.30 the first day will feature a performance of "Desflamenk2" with tribute to " Always like that".

The program of the fair, the exhibition will be open daily from 12: 00h.

includes other actions such as the flamenco group "Los Duendes" on Friday April 29, and the group "The Espartera" on Saturday night, when it also will be held, the Dance Day with several performances of dance groups, in the morning.

Sunday morning May 1 the exhibition will open for little ones with the show "Cantabaila" and the farewell will come in the afternoon with the traditional rociera Mass sung by the Rondalla "Santiago Apostle".

Salve Rociera, as usual, it will ring every day of the Fair at 00: 00h.

Villaescusa Carmen recalled the cuisine of the six houses that will keep the atmosphere of the four-day fair opening at noon, afternoon and night, with rice, pot, fried fish and other dishes of the local cuisine.

The headman mayor, Julia Gallut thanked the work of all those that make possible the fair, together with the council of Celebration, and encouraged the public to visit and enjoy the atmosphere generated throughout the bridge in the town this initiative has been fully adopted by all the neighbors.
