Mayor Jose Miguel Luengo, accompanied by the Councillor for the Environment, Antonio Luengo and several members of the Corporation today said the municipal commitment to existing regulations on noise in the manifesto read at the square of Spain on the occasion of the celebration of day International Noise Awareness 2016.
The meeting was attended primary school students, a group of people of the Day Center San Javier and the general public who participated in a small experiment consisted save 60 seconds of silence to capture the ambient noise, enough time for a plane and a nearby construction crane to rise up on own everyday sound of an urban center.
The Department of Environment did not let miss the opportunity to address the issue of noise and necessary social awareness of the harmful effects of it with several acts.
Under the eloquent title "The noise bothers me," the researcher at Advanced Telecommunications UCAM, Juan Emilio Noriega gave a talk first thing in the municipal building Multipurpose.
In a playful way the issue was also moved to the smaller with students of Primary Education schools in the municipality who attended the play "saddle and Ruidón" in the auditorium of City Hall.
At the exit, especially conscientious about noise, participated in strict silence, the final act of the conference organized by the Department of Environment.
