The Councillor for Education, Catalina Perez received today at City Hall a group of 22 French students are exchange students in the municipality with IES "Mar Menor".
French youths, aged 14 and 15 years old, are students of the College Feuchères, Nimes with the IES "Mar Menor", through its joint bilingual program French English, celebrates this type of exchange for seven years .
The mayor Catalina Perez welcomed them and after a brief presentation of the municipality, wished them a happy stay, inviting them to join the local life and taste typical dishes like pot.
French students return the week-long visit to the houses of their Spanish colleagues who were already in Nimes last March.
The boys attend some classes with their peers in high school in a program that includes several cultural tours and canoeing down the River Segura.
