The Official Language School has donated to the local library 180 books of literature and teaching in the English and French languages, with the aim of enriching the fund consultation and loans of works in other languages ​​for students of the EOI and users General of the library.
The head of Studies of the Official Language School Eleonore Degrigny, accompanied by Melissa Duchossoy, a student at the University of Lille, which collaborates with the EOI in organizing cultural activities, presented this morning from books coordinator libraries Toni Diaz who welcomed the initiative those responsible.
Eleonore Degingny explained that the books come from donations made throughout the months of March and April last by the entire educational community with a wide variety of genres including novels, biographies, disclosure and books for learning tongue.
Degrigny added that the Official Language School collaborates with the Department of Culture of the City of San Javier through the library throughout the year to promote reading among their students, something that has been specially worked this course.
One of the most successful actions was the bookcrossing through which students exchanged books in English or French with others.
He has also collaborated on other actions as in the commemorative program of World Book Day with a ceremony dedicated to the anniversary of Shakespeare and Cervantes, among others.
