The regional president, Pedro Antonio Sánchez today thanked professionals working in the Day Center Aideman in San Javier, the work carried out at the Centre visited for the first time since its commissioning, accompanied by the Minister of Family and Equality, Violante Thomas, mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, and the president of Aidemar, Francisco Garcia.
Pedro Antonio Sánchez, who discovered along with Francisco Garcia a commemorative plaque, referred to the Day Center, which already hosts 50 users and has capacity for 60, as an example of agglutination of efforts by government to provide greater quality of life for citizens.
The President of the Region of Murcia highlighted the quality of the facilities that can offer quality care to people with disabilities and their families.
The center has a kitchen and dining room, several rooms occupational workshops, as well as physiotherapy treatments, including an indoor pool.
Pedro Antonio Sanchez reiterated the support of the Autonomous Community Aidemar and congratulated the mayor, José Miguel Luengo by the recent award of the Gold Medal this Association that takes 35 years committed to quality care to the disabled which have not given nor in the hardest moments.
Francisco Garcia, who along with other officials Aideman accompanied by a detailed tour of the facility, said the Day Center "is the fulfillment of a dream that began many years ago" and thanked the collaboration of the Autonomous Community Murcia and the City of San Javier to make it happen.
Later they visited the Early Childhood Center located next to the day center where different professionals multidisciplinary serve the needs of the smallest.
The Early Childhood Center does not work with continued schedule as the Day Center serves more than 100 children in need of early stimulation in different treatment rooms, individual and group.
