The president and the secretary of the Local Youth Council of San Javier, Maria Reyes Galeras and Paul Meroño, respectively, presented today at the City of San Javier the "Wings 6.16" program aimed at finding youth employment, in an act that it was attended by the general director of Youth, Fran Sanchez and Councilwoman Youth council of San Javier Estíbaliz Masegosa.
The program, designed by the Local Youth Council of San Javier and funded by the Department of Youth, was born with a vocation of service.
"From the beginning we had very clear it had to be dedicated to combat high youth unemployment figures," said Reyes Galeras, who encouraged young people to participate in workshops aimed at both optimize job search and training with companies "who are committed to enrolling in their employment exchanges students".
Secretary of the Local Council of Youth Pablo Meroño explained that the workshops begin on Saturday May 28 with a course of career guidance given by Carmen Pazos, which will focus on writing a good resume, cover letter, or prepare a job interview.
The workshop will be a second part on June 4 focused on all available resources for job search through social networks.
The training workshops scheduled, which could add another, have focused on the demands of young people themselves, said Paul Meroño.
The first will be held on 18 and 19 June devoted to children's entertainment.
There will also be a course of basic barista, offered by the company Café Il Trovatore, on June 25.
Manuela Martinez bartending teach a course, which will be held in Mytika Beach Club, on July 2.
Registrations can be made today on the Department of Youth, and active during the morning and at the headquarters of Local Youth Council, located in the Civic Center of San Javier, from 17:00 to 20: 30h.
Places are limited and will be allocated in strict order of arrival.
Youth Councillor, Estíbaliz Masegosa highlighted the efforts of the Council of San Javier has seen clearly that youth is not only leisure time but has other challenges, such as the use to which they have dedicated this program youth participation.
The general director of Youth, Fran Sanchez stressed the importance of "a program that from the beginning we knew we had to support and encouraged local officials to" go out to tell young people the existence of these workshops.
