The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Provincial Labor and Social Security of Murcia, has developed the operation 'Primula' research aimed at preventing and detecting fraud against the Treasury and Social Security, it has led to the arrest of two persons as alleged perpetrators of crimes of usurpation of civil status and fraud against the Treasury and Social Security.
The investigation was initiated as part of the services established for the development of the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Employment and Social Security and the Ministry of Interior, aimed at combating fraud and illegal employment.
The result of this collaboration, the Civil Guard and the Labour Inspectorate of Murcia have conducted numerous inspections of companies engaged in the agriculture sector, in this case, in the county of Mar Menor, with the aim of detecting illegal practice of fraudulent contracts.
Once collected all the information through the General Treasury of the Social Security in Murcia (working lives, affiliate relations and economic data of the Tax Administration), researchers have verified foot field, the identities of workers given high.
These efforts have identified a female employee, on a farm in the municipality of San Javier, whose physical identity does not correspond to the documents filed in his employment contract.
The Civil Guard has found that the worker had usurped the identity of a compatriot, of similar age and physical characteristics, as it lacked documentation for legal stay in the country and therefore to be discharged in Social Security.
Researchers have located the owner of these documents, although in legal situation in the country, does not exercise paid employment so supposedly 'paid' documentation to materialize the employment contract.
Operation 'PRIMULA' has culminated in the arrest of two women, 41 and 44, of Moroccan nationality to which are attributed the alleged perpetrators of the crime of usurpation of civil status and fraud against the Treasury and Security Social.
This type of crime hurts both the General Treasury of the Social Security and the National Institute of Employment and consumed with obtaining income on the one hand from work and other potential benefits for unemployment benefits, family support, disability temporary or maternity, among others.
Detainees and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 6 San Javier (Murcia).
