The Municipal Nursery School of San Javier, for children aged 0 to 3 years, yesterday celebrated its 10th anniversary since its launch in 2005-2006.

More than 100 children today spend every day for a facility that yesterday afternoon hosted a celebration party was attended by Mayor José Miguel Luengo, the Councillor for Education, Catalina Perez and former mayor, Juan Martinez, who was in charge as Councillor for Education then, to create and implement the School.

Juan Martinez recalled that San Javier was the first school for children from 0 to 3 years of the municipality, which then followed other three, in El Mirador, Santiago de la Ribera and La Manga.

Martinez recalled a time when it was strongly placed on education with results as the Infant School, and others as the Official Language School, the Conservatory of Music, the School of Sport Sciences, and others such as the Bachelor of Arts and bilingual studies.

Martinez recalled his predecessor as Councillor for Education, Francisca Naranjo, and Jose Hernandez, who recognized his commitment as mayor for Education in those years.

Juan Martinez also acknowledged the work of the mayor Pepa Garcia and of the former Councillor for Education, José Angel Noguera, "connoisseurs the world of education as is the current Councillor Catherine Smith".

The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo congratulated, as previously did the mayor of Education, Catalina Perez, the entire management team and professional for the work place in the center each day with the kids.

Luengo noted the importance of events like yesterday for "not give everything for granted and realize how difficult it can be to launch and maintain quality new services".

Luengo as Mayor reiterated its commitment to continue betting as always done in San Javier for Education and recalled the steps that are being taken to strengthen university education in our town with new studies.

The schoolyard hosted a celebration party with a snack and a cake with candles tenth anniversary blew out the center's director, attended by mothers, fathers and children and center staff, members municipal corporation, and guests to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Infant School.
