Councillor for Parks and Gardens, Maria Dolores Ruiz yesterday received the 23 students who started a course of manipulator of pesticides organized by the Department of Parks and Gardens in collaboration with the Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of Murcia (FECOAM) provided by the teacher.
The course, 25 hours held in the afternoon, in the municipality of San Javier, aims to enable participants therein to manage and able to buy plant protection products as established by current legislation, by obtaining the corresponding license issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water of the Region of Murcia.
Maria Dolores Ruiz, who was accompanied by the teacher of the course and the municipal technician Parks and Gardens, welcomed the cooperation of the FECOAM for conducting these courses promoted by the Department to facilitate the residents of San Javier training and photo required for handling pesticides.
The profile of the students are farmers, gardeners and individuals who require obtaining a license, even for private use.
The courses for obtaining a license, taught at baseline, 25 hours, compulsory for anyone handling these products, and qualified level of 55 hours, work address phytosanitary treatments are carried along the year when the minimum group of students enrolled is reached.
The courses, which are offered for free, are subsidized by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
Those interested can register at any time of the year performing at the Register of the City's application may be obtained from the Department of Parks and Gardens, and Information, in the municipality of San Javier, or downloaded from the website of the City of San Javier in the window of Parks and Gardens.
From the Department will contact with stakeholders to inform them of the dates of the courses to be convened periodically.
