Hoteliers and tourist accommodation in Santiago de la Ribera entrepreneurs say they have received cancellations facing the imminent summer campaign against which are optimistic regarding the occupation.
So they passed it to the mayor, José Miguel Luengo and the Councillor for Tourism, Antonio Martinez during a meeting held this morning, on request, yesterday, employers themselves to show their concern about what they consider an alarmist tone that sometimes used to talk about the situation of the Mar Menor.
During the meeting the need to act responsibly by all stakeholders and the need to provide all the information generated on the continuous monitoring is done at the state of water in the Mar Menor addressed.
In this regard, the Department of Tourism pledged to continue, as before, moving to the business sector analytical beach, whose services are operating at one hundred percent, and any other relevant information on the Mar Menor.
During the meeting, the mayor moved them all the steps that are being taken in this matter, and other issues such as efforts by hosting events and activities that contribute to the smooth running of the tourist season were discussed.
On Monday, Mayor Jose Miguel Luengo and the Councillor for Tourism and Beaches met with a group of merchants and entrepreneurs in holiday La Manga sector in the port Tomas Maestre to address also the situation of the Mar Menor face the summer season, with the information available as frequent water analytical results of which facing the bathroom are comparable to any other season as well as other aspects related to the sector.
