The Minister of Finance and Public Administration, Andrés Carrillo, met with entrepreneurs of San Javier, which detailed the characteristics of the new loans guaranteed by the Institute of Credit and Finance of the Region of Murcia (ICREF), for new investments that improve business productivity.
At the meeting, attended by the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, the Minister informed them of the agreement signed with seven financial institutions for lending, in which the Community supports 50 percent of the operation to create new jobs.
"This is a mechanism that allows us to reach those most funding difficulties," said Andrés Carrillo.
Meanwhile, entrepreneurs asked the counselor and director of ICREF, Pilar Valero, details and information necessary to request such guarantees procedure and specifics of the conditions to be met by concerned and expressed their willingness to study the different options.
These lending operations, for loans arranged under the program of financing the European Investment Bank to the ICO for companies, firms whose investments are intended or ownership are in the region.
Loans that are included in this line of guarantees of ICREF may be a maximum of 1.5 million euros and a term of up to 10 years.
However, the average transaction is estimated receivables stood at 70,000 euros to seven years and an interest rate around 3.3 percent.
Also, this credit line of 50 million euros may be extended in the event that was consumed before the end of 2017.
