Choosing the best summer beach bar is not easy, but Events Diario La Manga has proposed this summer by an original initiative in which the public will decide.
In total there will be 34 beach bars that will compete to be the best summer 2016 both in La Manga and Cabo de Palos, Paradise Beach, Playa Honda, Mar de Cristal and smaller islands.
The beach bars attached to the initiative begins Friday and lasts 24 to 10 July, set a price of 4.50 euros per drinking, they being the ones who decide what they offer for that price, and which may include tapas, or any other gastronomic product and cocktails, etc.
Customers who want to make "the way of the stall" will have to demonstrate that they have tried at least five different drinks, which will be sealed in "the chiringuitera" to be deposited in the three polls that will be installed in La Manga Consortium and Offices Tourism Cabo de Palos and La Manga (along Steamers).
Voters will compete for awards such as hotel nights, televisions, "your height in beer", "your height in Coca Cola" and tickets to Port of Cultures.
The event has the support of the municipalities of Cartagena and San Javier, La Manga Consortium and the Hospitality Association of Cartagena and Shire, Hostec as well as numerous sponsors.
