The 47th International Festival of Theatre, Music and Dance has opened the registration period for the course "The clown on the track" which will give Anthony Valen from 9 to 11 August in San Javier.
The course, which is included in the parallel activities of the festival, aims to help students find their own clown.
Over the course sessions theatrical basics of clowning and search for how to be effective before the public, through clarity in the gestures and actions will work, as well as emotional projection that facilitates the connection of clowning with the audience.
The stage presence, pauses, rhythms, the pretext, complicity with the game, the companion and the public will be other elements to work on the course will also seek creativity through games and individual and collective improvisation.
Anthony Valen, is one of the great international specialists in the clown, the jester and the Commedia dell'Arte.

among others of the greats of the genre, Anthony Valen was professor of gestural interpretation and clown in the School of Dramatic Arts in Murcia before joining the Cirque du Soleil, with which he made an international tour 5 years with the show "Joy" , and which continues to work and working.
Also he directs several companies Clown, street theater and Commedia dell'Arte.
Classes will be held in the Multipurpose Building San Javier, on 9, 10 and 11 August from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:00.
The course fee is 37Euros.
