The Department of Environment will not rest during the summer in their work and social awareness about the need to take action on the matter of selection and recycling.
Councilman, Antonio Luengo today presented the program has been prepared to move to the beaches recycling campaign during the months of July and August.
This year the campaign six beaches where there will be information and activities that encourage recycling among children and adults widens.
The activity "My residue, my treasure" will consist weigh light packaging waste cardboard and paper to hand each person who will receive a prize according weighing.

The summer campaign includes an information stand will reach the beaches with distinctive quality in Santiago de la Ribera and La Manga.
In Santiago de la Ribera it will be on 7 July at Barnuevo;
August 11 in Columbus and August 18 in Castillico.
In La Manga will be on July 14 at Mistral morning and afternoon beach in El Pedruchillo, and on August 25 in Ensenada del Esparto.
Luengo reported that besides the beaches, also hit the markets, on July 21 in San Javier, and August 10 in Santiago de la Ribera, an information stand and the game Recycling Diana.
The mayor of the Environment said that sustainable development begins by citizens individually and recalled the need to change daily habits since all generate waste, also on beaches.

"Spectacular" growth in selective collection by kilos in the municipality
Ruiz said that in light packaging the municipality closed 2014 with 80,060 kilos collected, while 2015 closed with 235,480, representing an increase of 194%.
Regarding the separate collection of cardboard paper total figure also it increased going from 254,590 kilos in 2014 to 366.540kilos that were collected in 2015, representing an increase of 44% which places the municipality 23% above the regional average.
The mayor of Multiple Services, Maria Dolores Ruiz stressed that in light packaging the municipality does not reach the regional average although the spectacular growth that occurred last year indicates that by the end of 2016 will already have exceeded the average of the Region of Murcia.
There are now a total of 120 containers and 122 light packaging cardboard paper, which during the summer will be increased with 10 more for each waste both in La Manga and Santiago de la Ribera and San Javier.
The mayor recalled that also Ecoparks of San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera where citizens can carry a wide variety of waste, and mobile ecorpque, which runs along strategic areas of the municipality, spending the day on Friday to La Manga work.
