Surveillance cameras installed in the Almansa Park, San Javier, have been instrumental in the arrest of two individuals as alleged perpetrators of the recent theft of a motorcycle that was parked in the parking area covered by the Auditorium, as reported by the Councillor Security, Teresa Foncuberta.
The arrest was made possible by the recording was requested by the Civil Guard barracks from Santiago de la Ribera, where the owner of the motorcycle had been reported stolen.
The viewing of the tape helped to identify the alleged perpetrators thereof, one of which is known recidivist and security forces in the area, which eventually acknowledged the facts after being located by agents.
The Security mayor, Teresa Foncuberta stressed the usefulness of cameras to such situations and any other discrimination that violates the law and coexistence in an emblematic space as is the Almansa Park.
Foncuberta also highlighted the good reception given among neighbors this new security tool both in the Almansa Park and in the souk area, in La Manga, where already functioning efficiently 4 cameras that have helped improve security and confidence of residents in the area.
