Mayor Jose Miguel Luengo received today at City Hall to canoeist Santiago de la Ribera Alejandro Agüera, which along with other experienced paddlers, Jose Bello, Cadiz, and Cartagena Carlos Garcia undertake the July 12 "The crossing of Fools "a journey that will take them from Palma de Mallorca to Rome in dugout.

Aguera, who was accompanied by Olympic canoeist David Cal and Nemesio Mariño School of Canoeing UCAM-Mar Menor, explained that the three paddlers will rotations every four hours for 24 hours a day in their kayaks, hybrids ride and competition .
