The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo signed this morning in Murcia with the Minister of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, Juan Hernandez an agreement incorporating the municipality of San Javier to the initiative of the regional government, Entrepreneur Municipality, in an act which also signed its accession to this integrated program in the Emprendemos Plan, the mayors of Lorca and Torre Pacheco.
The initiative, launched through INFO, will involve the development of more than 40 measures revolving around entrepreneurship, and in the case of San Javier also actions for the promotion and strengthening of infrastructure that can accommodate activities in its contemplated initial phase on favorable terms integrated in the Regional Network Viveros.
After signing the agreement the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo thanked the counselor the implementation of this initiative "that will bring further INFO to the City of San Javier," and noted that this agreement "will help the project conversion of the old medical center of Santiago de la Ribera in a business center and business incubator, with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship in our municipality. "
Luengo also noted that San Javier is in a very interesting in terms of business investment time, among other reasons, by the forthcoming adoption of land-use planning which defines a growth model for the next 30 years with more industrial land and hotel.
