The canoeist from Santiago de la Ribera Alejandro Agüera, known as Alex Canoes, has culminated, with paddlers Carlos Garcia and Jose Bello, "The Voyage of Los Locos", a feat that has led canoe from Palma de Mallorca to Rome where Alex arrived yesterday, showing the flag of San Javier, before leaving the dugout where he has covered a distance of 1,200 kilometers and given over 200,000 strokes.
Before embarking on the adventure, Alex Canoes, which is sports instructor in the PDM of San Javier, met with the mayor, José Miguel Luengo and the Councillor for Sports, Carlos Albaladejo who explained that La Ruta de Los Locos, called it so a group of 18 university paddlers were proposed in 1950, successfully win the Jubilee in the Vatican, traveling by canoe from Palma de Mallorca.
