The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, the CEO of Youth, Francisco Sanchez, and the Councillor for Youth, Estíbaliz Masegosa presented this morning the "Spume Run," a five-kilometer race in which across five inflatable arches that will drop included tons of colorful foam to the passage of the participants, which will take place on Saturday August 13 in Santiago de la Ribera.

It is the brainchild of the creators of the phenomenon "Holi Run", in which you can participate running or walking, and in which there will be no winners, but guaranteed fun with your friends or family, as it is aimed at all audiences, said Luengo.

The "Spume Run" will come to the park and "Prince of Asturias" Santiago de la Ribera.

At 19: 00h will exit with a route that includes Sandoval Avenue and esplanade Barnuevo, to return again in the Sandoval Avenue, to the taxi stand, from where direction is taken to the site of the AGA to thread the IES "Mar Menor" and back to the park "Prince of Asturias", where the party will continue with more foam and music until 00: 00h.

José Miguel Luengo said that this activity is done with the support of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, it is part of the extensive program, artistic, sporting, festive, cultural and recreational activities, which are being held throughout the summer in the city, and encouraged aa young and old to enjoy in Santiago de la Ribera of the opportunity to live the first race of its kind to be held in Spain.

The Director General of Tourism, Francisco Sanchez recalled that "Spume Run" is an idea created by 'Holi Run "race powder colors, including live music and lots of fun, and last year mobilized more than 120,000 people in Spain.

This time will be colored foam, equally innocuous, to end the explosion of colors representing the "Holi Boom" in the final musical feast.

Sanchez recalled that this initiative adds the young project proposed by the regional government to come up with different proposals throughout the year at any point in the region and stressed the commitment of the City of San Javier for everything related to Youth "so the Spume Run had to celebrate here."
