The 3X3 basketball tournament Santiago de la Ribera has established itself as one of the most traditional sporting events and most anticipated of the year, since 1996 when it launched for the first time this festival of basketball.
One more year, and after 20 editions, the 3X3 returns to the shores of the Mar Menor, on the esplanade Barnuevo, where a total of 10 tracks will be deployed by tomorrow Saturday 13 and Sunday August 14 will spend a total of 432 players 108 teams from throughout the region.
The matches, to be played to 21 points with a maximum duration of 20 minutes, begin at 10: 00h and will last until 20:30 Saturday and Sunday when about 20: 00h.
It is expected the awards ceremony in the various categories.
As in previous editions of the tournament include individual competitions dunks and free throws, among others.
The tournament attracts every year thousands of people throughout the day passes Barnuevo esplanade to watch the games and enjoy the atmosphere that generates an especially expected and welcomed by the public event.
The tournament is orgnanizado by the Sports Association MARME collaboration with the Municipal Sports of San Javier.
