The Department of Education has called its Extraordinary Awards Baccalaureate which will remain open until October 29, in order to award the four best academic records of high school students registered in San Javier who finished their studies at institutes of the municipality in 2016.
The award, which will be compatible with any other aid or reward that can receive for the same reason from other senior managers, will consist of 500 euros in cash for each of the four students with the best records of the municipality.
The Department has already informed the IES "Mar Menor", "Ruiz de Alda" and "Las Salinas" of La Manga, for students registered in the municipality of San Javier, in order to locate files that exceed, according bases, 8.75 average grade in high school.
The candidates for these awards, which will continue studying in the 2016-2017 course, must be submitted to the General Register of the City their applications before 29 October.

The Councillor for Education, Catalina Perez, encouraged students records holders exceeding the threshold of 8.75 grade point average to qualify for these prizes which aims to publicly recognize their efforts and encourage them to continue working for excellence in its higher education.
