The general director of the Regional Employment and Training Alejandro Zamora said today in San Javier that the decline in unemployment in the last 12 months has been in this municipality of 10.66 percent, which places it at two points above the regional and national average.
Zamora added that San Javier there are 283 fewer unemployed than in September 2015 and highlighted the increase in social security afiliaciación 356 people have joined the labor market in San Javier, representing an increase of 3.53% over the previous year.
Alejandro Zamora met with the mayor, José Miguel Luengo and Councilman Trade and Employment, Antonio Martinez in the city of San Javier before visiting students in the mixed program of employment and training in geriatric care for dependents that allows its 15 participants to gain professional certification with paid internships, for a year.
The SEF has allocated 220,000 euros for this program, along with other 147,000 euros in two programs of local public employment, in San Javier, one focused on the adequacy of sidewalks and services, which employed 13 people, and another for youth enrolled in Social Guarantee.

Mayor Jose Miguel Luengo, which dealt with the director general of SEF the possibility of having new employment programs in the municipality, highlighted the efforts and commitment of the regional government training and employment through the SEF.

After the meeting at City Hall they visited the students of the program "100% Activation" that began 25 unemployed people of which 10 have already found work.
The program, which takes place on the premises of the municipal Local Agency, ACTIVE Development, focuses on effective job search by activating all personal and material that can provide its participants to find employment resources.
Later they visited the students of mixed employment program that allows 15 people who were unemployed between 25 and 54 alternate theoretical and practical learning while receiving remuneration.
Participants, who were active job seekers and had a personalized itinerary of insertion in their offices SEF, develop their work in practice in the Day Centre for the Elderly in San Javier, in Residence San Jose, and the Residence Lozar, among others in the municipality.
After their training, one year, they obtain a certificate equivalent to an official title of Training professionalism.
