The Regional Blood Donation Center thanked the involvement in the dissemination and public awareness of the City of San Javier on the occasion of the last campaign of blood donation and bone held in San Javier in which the number of donors has increased by 20% compared to the same campaign in October 2015.
As reported by the Regional Blood Donation Center the number of donors attended during 19 and 26 October in San Javier totaled 277 compared to 211 Campaign October 2015. Of the 45 donors attended attended for the first time against the 16 did last year.
Donors could be attended by a total of 231 donations against 190 the previous year.
The marrow donation campaign which joined this year opened with 32 donors.
The Department of Youth and Health, which were involved in the dissemination of recent donation campaign in which specially requested the participation of young people from the Blood Donation Center, have launched a message of thanks to the people by the response.
They have also highlighted the high degree of social awareness that exists among the population of San Javier on donating blood and bone, as reflected in the data of the last campaign.
