The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and several members of the Municipal Corporation attended today in the cemetery of San Javier, the act that the General Air Academy dedicated to the memory of the deceased soldiers of the AGA in action, on the occasion of Memorial Day for the homeland today celebrating the Spanish Armed Forces.
Colonel General Air Academy, Pablo Sanchez de Lara presided over the ceremony, held at the military compound that houses the cemetery of San Javier, attended by various military commanders of the AGA, a squad of students, and a broad representation of the association of the Ladies of Loreto.
The chaplain Alfonso Valcárcel officiated responso in which he reminded the deceased soldiers of the Air Force in a ceremony that began with the raising of the flag to the tune of the national anthem played by the Band of the AGA, and placement of a crown laurel, by Colonel Pablo Sanchez de Lara and the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, on the cross presiding over the enclosure.
The Air Force anthem closed the ceremony.
