Councillor for Transport, Antonio Martinez has reported that the Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure is committed to working with the City of San Javier in improving the connection by a bus service between San Javier and all the districts of the municipality.
Antonio Martinez added that the Director General of Transport, coasts and ports, Salvador Garcia-Ayllón, with which met last Monday in the City of San Javier, informed him that the Director of Transport of the Region of Murcia Plan, released recently tender includes improving public transport between villages in the municipality of San Javier in the updated and detailed study of supply and demand which includes the Plan.
The mayor of Transport, Antonio Martinez thanked the Director General of the Regional government attention to this "historic demand that we have been working for some time".
Martinez said that "the implementation of an urban line that connects San Javier with all districts, both closer as El Mirador, Santiago de la Ribera, Roda and Pozo Aledo, as La Manga, has always been a priority for the government team and so we did know the general manager. "
Martinez added that the new line would be compatible with the intercity public transport links currently Balsicas, San Javier and San Pedro del Pinatar serving as a whole more than 37,000 passengers a year.
