The Department of Parks and Gardens has invested 16,000 euros in the renovation and integral remodeling of the park Plaza Murcia, in Avenida del Taibilla, San Javier with the addition of new games, fencing security and rubber floor.
The remodeling of the park has included the provision of a nest swing that can be used by children with mobility problems, and a baby swing nest.
The entire play area has also been covered with rubber flooring and has been perimeted with a safety fence.
The action has included the provision of elements of healthy exercise demanded by the neighbors of the area as well as the conditioning with artificial grass of the garden area attached to the playground.
The renovation and remodeling of the park of the Plaza Murcia, in the Castejón neighborhood, adds to other actions recently developed by the Department of Parks and Gardens in the parks of EuroRoda;
The Gran Canaria street in San Javier, Isla Grosa and Estacio Bridge parks in La Manga, the Parque de la Plaza Segura in Santiago de la Ribera and Pozo Aledo.
Also, to encourage its use and outdoor play among the smallest, the council launched the campaign of animation in the parks of the municipality "In your park or mine," which already has 11 events held with activities and A snack for the little ones, and that next December 2 will arrive at the children's playground of the Plaza de España, San Javier, adding to the patron saint festivities of the town.
