The Directorate General for Citizen Participation, European Union and Foreign Action, together with the Secretary of State for Culture, has organized an information day on community programs' Creative Europe 'and' Citizens' Europe 'held on Thursday in the Auditorium And Congress Center Víctor Villegas de Murcia.
The conference will provide a practical and theoretical overview of funding opportunities through these European Commission programs specifically targeted to 2020 to foster cultural projects and strengthen citizens' awareness of the European area.
'Europe Creativa-Cultura' is aimed at all cultural and creative entities, public or private, whether or not for profit, with the aim of promoting transnational mobility and the training of professionals in the sector.
'Europe with Citizens' is the program aimed at promoting the active participation of citizens in the democratic life of the Union, and is aimed at both civil society associations and local and regional authorities.
The day will be inaugurated at 9:45 am by the general director of Citizen Participation, European Union and Foreign Action, Manuel Pleguezuelo, and will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, Creative Europe Office, Junta de Andalucía And City of Murcia.

30th anniversary of Spain's integration into the EU
The day coincides with the events organized by the Community this year on the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the integration of Spain into the European Union.
The Palacio de San Esteban hosted last Monday a 'Citizen Dialogue: Let's Talk about Europe', which was attended by the President of the Community, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and Regional Policy Commissioner Corina Cretu, as well as the professor of International Law of the University of Murcia, Cesáreo Gutiérrez, general director of Community Funds of the Ministry of Finance, José María Piñero, the General Director of External Action of the Junta de Extremadura, Rosa María Balas, and the president of Cermi, Pilar Morales .
In addition, this year the Murcia Region hosted meetings of the Committee on Citizenship, Governance and Institutional and External Affairs of the Committee of the Regions and the Euro-Mediterranean Regional and Local Assembly.
