The City Council of San Javier will contribute with 2000 euros to the operation of the Parkinson Mar Menor Association through the renewal of the collaboration agreement signed by the mayor, José Miguel Luengo and the president of the association, Genoveva Ortiz.
José Miguel Luengo highlighted the work carried out by this association since its implementation two years ago, and especially since the opening of its headquarters, provided by the City Council, in the Senior Center of Santiago de la Ribera, where they serve more than 20 People, who provide all kinds of support to improve their quality of life.
Genoveva Ortiz thanked the municipal collaboration and appealed to people in the region who may be affected by Parkinson's, and relatives to contact the Association to know their services provided by volunteers, including neuropsychology, physiotherapy, Speech therapy, occupational therapy, integration and mediation.
The headquarters of the Association is located in the Senior Center of Santiago de la Ribera, in Calle Padre Juan, s / n.
