The Association of Architects of the Region will collaborate with the City Council of San Javier in the planning and design of the park Almansa de San Javier.
Specifically, it will help in the preparation, management and processing of a competition of ideas in order to select a proposal for remodeling and rehabilitation of the park.
The College of Architects will work to establish the criteria that should govern the contest of ideas that will consist of the council, especially everything related to its adaptation and adaptation to the place, compliance with minimum requirements and regulations, architectural definition, costs, etc.
The competition that the City Council of San Javier has undertaken to publish emerges as part of a municipal strategy for the development of the urban center that provides a series of medium and long-term action lines aimed at improving the urban environment and quality Of the inhabitants of San Javier.
With it, the rehabilitation of the park Almansa, an area of ​​public recreation in which the different elements that form it are not kept a common thread.
It is sought that the different uses that integrate it: sports, cultural and recreation, coexist after the complete remodeling of it.
Those responsible for signing the agreement were Rafael Pardo, dean of the Official College of Architects of the Region of Murcia, and the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo.
