Researchers have recovered stolen jewelry in homes
All those arrested, despite their youth, already have antecedents for similar crimes
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, under the operation 'VOLAORET', a research developed to prevent and prosecute robberies in housing in the Mar Menor region, has dismantled a juvenile criminal group consisting of four people and Is attributed the alleged authorship of at least two assaults on San Javier properties.
During the proceedings also recovered objects mainly stolen jewels that have already been returned to their owners.
Last September, civilian security guards specialized in citizen security prevention began the operation to investigate thefts with force committed in houses of the Mar Menor region.
Some of the crimes called the attention of the agents especially because in some robberies came to coincide in the house the assailants and the residents of the property.
The first investigations were carried out in the houses subject to theft with the practice of exhaustive technical-ocular inspections and the obtaining of all type of indicia that could unmask the modus operandi used and the identity of the authors.
Modus Operandi
The general pattern of action was the scaling of perimeter walls to access the enclosures and the breaking of doors or windows to penetrate the houses and, once inside, to take advantage of value effects and easy commercialization, mainly pieces of jewelry .
The criminal group consisted of four young men acting in pairs.
One partner was dedicated to materialize the robberies and the other to the acquisition and subsequent illicit marketing of stolen objects.
The Guardia Civil was able to identify four young people, residents of San Javier and habitual criminals, as possible perpetrators of the crimes investigated who, once obtained all the necessary indications, have been located and detained as alleged perpetrators of robbery with force and receiving.
In the course of the operation 'VOLAORET', framed in the 'Plan against burglary in housing' and still open, the Benemérita has recovered part of the stolen effects, in this case pieces of jewelry, which have already been returned to Its rightful owners.
In addition, as a result of the analysis of the information obtained during the investigation, two robbery offenses have been clarified with force in housing, although the authorship of the group dismantled in other criminal acts is not ruled out.
Arrested Moroccans, aged between 19 and 21, living in San Javier and with a history of similar offenses, the effects recovered and the investigations have been made available to the Court of Instruction of San Javier (Murcia).
