The emergency services of Civil Protection of San Javier have received from this morning the support of the company SGS, dedicated to issues of emergency and safety, which has provided four trucks and eight bilge pumps, as well as a Civil Protection endowment of Molina De Segura and volunteer students of the "Hespérides" Vocational Training Center, students Emergencies and Civil Protection, who from first thing in the morning collaborate in the works of water bilge in community garages, which have been given preference and in private homes .
From the first moment of the storm, the Civil Protection services, which had the help of the AGA and AENA media, focused on the safety of the people with a first rescue phase, followed by assistance to those affected Evacuated, assisted and relocated in their homes, and currently focuses on the rehabilitation of homes and buildings, a task, which with the reinforcement arrived this morning, is intended to culminate between today and tomorrow.
The municipal emergency services that have about 80 people in different shifts, since they work 24 hours, has attended to the moment a total of 250 private notices, serving 500 people, of which 60 were evacuated on the night of Last Sunday and taken to the civic center of San Javier where they spent the night.
At present, the works are focused on the water drainage where it still remains mostly stagnant in basements.
The municipal public services and street cleaning are totally dedicated to the cleaning and cleaning of public roads that at this time are mostly cleared.
