The Municipality of San Javier has collected during the International Tourism Fair of Madrid, Fitur 2017, the Prize to the nobel destination awarded by the Integral System of Spanish Tourist Quality in Destinations (SICTED), promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism with the support Of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), which recognizes the effort and commitment of the destination in its commitment to quality and continuous improvement in tourism.
In total, 24 tourist resources and services of the municipality have been recognized as hotels and holiday apartments, taxis, transport companies, beaches, marinas, shops, restaurants, tourist information offices and citizen security services, among others.
Also, the city of Murcia has won the prize as the first finalist to the Best Management of the destination, in a competition in which have participated other 201 national tourist destinations.
