A total of 360 families in the municipality will receive a grant of 50 euros for teaching material that the Department of Education of the City of San Javier intended for students in 2nd cycle of Early Childhood Education (3.4 and 5 years) with a total of 18,000 Which has been apportioned among all approved applications.

The call for aid for this course registered a total of 439 applications which were initially denied, because they did not meet the required requirements or lack of documentation, a total of 121. Of the denied applications, 50 filed a complaint during the claim period and 43, of which the final list approved by the last Governing Board amounts to 360.

The Councilor for Education, Catalina Perez stressed the opportunity of these municipal grants since the rest of administrations do not include them in the usual scholarships as it is not compulsory education.

The mayor recalled that the amount to receive, which can not exceed 60 euros according to the basis of the call, depends on the number of applications approved and is designed to help families with the teaching materials of the smallest.
