The Department of Parks and Gardens has invested a total of 146,185.85 € in the comparison of new games and recreational and sporting elements to renew and expand the endowment of the playgrounds of the municipality.
The new games will begin to be installed after their immediate supply after the mayor, José Miguel Luengo yesterday signed the award of the same to the companies Games Kompan SA, worth 60,896 €;
Benito Urban, SLU for € 46,145.47;
Novatilu, SLU for 22,578.6E, and Children's Parks of Levante for 16,564.9 €.
The award has meant a saving of more than 50,000 euros, on the bidding budget amounting to 200,000 euros, which will be used to further improve playgrounds.
The Councilor for Parks and Gardens, María Dolores Ruiz highlighted as the main novelty, the acquisition of games exclusively for disabled people who can access with their wheelchair, being the first time they are installed in the municipality where already exist Adapted swings, which are also extended with this new purchase.
Maria Dolores Ruiz also highlighted another set of innovative games, including zip lines, carousel, parcours and three-dimensional networks, which are also installed for the first time in our parks and are designed to meet the most dynamic and challenging preferences of children from 6 and 12 years.
In addition to swings nests, double swings, wooden circuits have been acquired and games "bio-healthy" to respond to older people who demand biosaludables in public parks, as well as other younger ages who can also exercise with sports circuits, Explained Ruiz.
Canine bins, information posters, banks, paper bins, and vertical signage have also been purchased to improve the park environment.
