The City Council of San Javier has granted a total of 120 grants to mobility for students of the municipality who study post-compulsory outside the municipality, for a total of 29,250 €, 33% more than last year.
The call for mobility aid convened by the Department of Education received a total of 151 applications, of which 120 have been granted and 31 denied, mainly for exceeding the income threshold, or not submitting the required documentation.
The majority of applications submitted are students who travel to Murcia, who receive € 250 and Cartagena receive € 200, depending on the distance in kilometers of the study center that includes the scale of the call.
Those who exceed 100km distance receive 300 and those who are abroad, such as Erasmus, receive € 350.
Councilor for Education Catalina Pérez highlighted the increase in the aid of mobility that help our university students, professional cycles, conservatories and other post-compulsory studies enrolled outside the municipality.
