The municipality of San Javier brings up to 23 of the 30 young athletes of the selection Murcia of the Olympic fights that will participate in the June / School Championships of Spain that are celebrated in Oviedo, Asturias, next 8 of April.
The massive presence of local athletes in the regional selection motivated that the official presentation of the whole Murcia Olympic fights will be held yesterday afternoon in San Javier, at an event held in the City Hall with the presence of the director general of Sports, Alonso Gomez, the mayor Of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and the Councilor of Sports, Carlos Albaladejo.
The enthusiasm for the Olympic fights in San Javier is the result of the Objective 2014 program that was launched at the IES Mar Menor, by the Federation along with the Municipal Sport Board, the Faculty of Sports Sciences and the General Directorate of Sports, Of which came about 40 athletes who train 100% subsidized in the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo stressed the success of the joint program that have left most of the athletes of the selection Murcia, who congratulated for their achievements and wished luck facing the Spanish Championship.
