The Mistral Beach Festival, to be held on 18 and 19 August in La Manga del Mar Menor, is looking for a song that talks about the summer and San Javier to become a syntony of the free music event held on the Mistral beach organized by The Department of Festejos and Cope-Cadena 100 Region of Murcia.

The Councilor of Festejos, Pedro López, the Councilor for Youth, Estíbaliz Masegosa and the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez, accompanied by the director general of Youth, Fran Sanchez and the Argentine artist Coti, which is part of the poster of the Festival along with Group elephants, presented last weekend in Murcia the II Model Competition "Your summer in San Javier", which may include soloists or groups Murcia, adults, who have no musical contract with any company.

Today Monday, May 22 begins the deadline to present the themes to contest that must be in the orbit of pop or rock, to the email concursomistralfestival@gmail.com or in the office of the Department of Festejos, in the City of San Javier, until June 30.

The jury, which will be composed of four members, representatives of Grupo Cope, a national record label, an artists' management, and a San Javier City Council technician, will select four finalists who will perform at a public concert on July 22 in Santiago Of the Ribera.

After the live, the winner will be decided, which will be the official tuning of the Festival and whose author or authors will play as the opening act of Coti at the concert on August 19 in La Manga del Mar Menor.

The Councilor of Festejos, Pedro López thanked Coti's support with his presence in the presentation of the musical event "which continues to win audiences every summer and continues to bet on the talent of Murcia and giving an opportunity for composers, singers and groups to give Know your work ".
